Anaheim acquired Stephenson from the Phoenix Coyotes on Wednesday for left wing Joakim Lindstrom.
Analysis: Stephenson will report directly to the Iowa Chops, Anaheim's AHL affiliate. The defenseman appeared in 19 games for the San Antonio Rampage this season, with one goal, one assist and 40 penalty minutes. The 6-foot-3, 205-pounder has played in 70-plus games in each of his last two AHL seasons. |

Lisin scored twice in a four-minute span of the third period to lift the Phoenix Coyotes over the Los Angeles Kings 4-2 on Tuesday night.
Analysis: Lisin went to San Antonio of the AHL at the end of October and was recalled on Nov. 21. He has three goals and two assists in six games since his return. |

Analysis: Although Lang hadn't recorded a point in three previous games, he did have a five-game points streak earlier this season. Lang has three goals and four assists in his last nine games, and he has recorded seven goals and nine assists in 24 games this season. |

Briere, who returned for the Flyers' 4-3 overtime win over visiting Tampa Bay on Tuesday after missing nine games with a groin strain, was forced to leave in the second period when he experienced discomfort in the same general area.
Analysis: "Our doctors think it's scar tissue breaking up," said Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren, who added that Briere would be evaluated on Wednesday. Briere lasted just 7 minutes, 41 seconds and did not register a shot before exiting the game. He has five goals and four assists through nine contests. |
