11/20/2009 Benoit Pouliot, LW, Min The Wild placed Pouliot on injured reserve on Friday with an upper-body injury and recalled center Nathan Smith from the AHL.

Analysis: Pouliot has two goals and two assists in 14 games this season.
11/20/2009 Matt Hendricks, C, Col The Avalanche placed forward Matt Hendricks on the injured reserve list retroactive to Nov. 14 with a groin injury.

Analysis: Hendricks doesn't have too much fantasy value.

Analysis: Selanne has six of his 11 goals over the past nine games.

Analysis: Getzlaf has all three of his goals and 19 of his 22 assists in his last 13 games.
11/20/2009 Bryan Rodney, D, Car The Hurricanes sent Rodney back to their AHL affiliate in Albany. The team made the move Friday after bringing him up Nov. 11.

Analysis: Rodney had two assists in five games and averaged nearly 18 minutes of ice time during his first stint with the team this season.
11/20/2009 Mike Smith, G, TB Smith continued his trend of alternating wins and losses in Thursday night's 4-3 overtime loss at Anaheim. He gave up three goals in the first 26:52 before the Lightning rallied to force the extra period.

Analysis: Smith has a 3.40 goals-against average in his 10 starts this season. He is 0-4-3 with a 3.34 GAA lifetime versus Tampa Bay's next opponent, Carolina. The teams play on Saturday night.

Analysis: Hiller, who allowed the Lightning to rally from a three-goal deficit and force overtime, has a 3.78 goals-against average in the last four games.
11/20/2009 Cristobal Huet, G, Chi Huet earned his eighth win in 10 games in the Blackhawks' 7-1 victory at Calgary on Thursday night.

Analysis: Huet has posted a 1.60 goals-against average over those 10 games after starting the season 2-2-1 with a 3.25 GAA.

11/20/2009 Scott Niedermayer, D, Anh Niedermayer scored a power-play goal 52 seconds into overtime and the Anaheim Ducks beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 4-3 on Thursday night after blowing a three-goal lead.

Analysis: Niedermayer scored his 13th career OT goal, an NHL record for defenseman, to snap the Ducks' four-game losing streak. He has two goals and 11 assists in 20 games this season.
11/20/2009 Chris Mason, G, StL Mason earned only his second win this month with Thursday night's 3-2 overtime victory over visiting Phoenix.

Analysis: Mason has allowed two goals or fewer in six straight games but is 2-2-2 in that span. He has a respectable 2.25 goals-against average this season but is 5-6-3.
11/20/2009 Chris Phillips, D, Ott Phillips scored twice in his 800th regular-season game, leading the Ottawa Senators to a 6-2 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday night.

Analysis: Phillips, who entered with one goal in 18 games, scored goals 2:03 apart in the third to put Ottawa up 5-1 and chase Pittsburgh goalie Marc-Andre Fleury. "I'm not expected to, for sure," Phillips said. "It feels good to do it and it felt like one of those high energy games, for us anyways, and it's nice."
